Drexel is a local family-owned company. We work the same soil that moves these houses — loess over expansive clay — and we write the bid the same way every time: photos, numbers, no fog. Every repair is backed by a lifetime of the structure warranty.
Why houses here move
Eastern Nebraska sits on wind-blown loess and fat clay. The clay drinks a March rain and swells against the wall. August dries it out and the footing drops. Freeze–thaw opens whatever the year already started. That is not a mystery, and it is not your fault.
We drive steel below the moving layer, drain the water that feeds the clay, and hold walls that have already started to bow. We do not sell waterproof paint as a structural repair. We do not “monitor” a dropping corner for a year if the numbers already say lift it.
Most of our work is referred by people we already leveled — and by the inspectors and agents who have to stand behind a report. The warranty is lifetime of the structure and transferable, because the next owner deserves the same paper.
The inspection is the job
We walk the lot, the basement or crawl, and the first floor. Laser level, moisture meter, photos of every crack that matters. You get the file whether you hire us or not. That is the only way a bid means anything.
